Area Sales Manager – Bucharest, Ilfov


  • Fulfilling the sales and distribution targets in the allocated region (Bucharest & Ilfov)
  • Developing company’s portfolio, by market research and identification of new clients
  • Developing and monitoring the existing partnership relations, offering customer support
  • Performing joint customer visit with the Sales Consultants and train/coach them on best practices
  • Monitoring the sales results and identifying areas of improvement


  • University degree (preferably Economics, Commerce)
  • Good understanding of the traditional trade in Romania
  • Proven capabilities in planning, organizing and managing resources
  • Very good expertise in wholesale/ retail business and in trading
  • Strong people management skills, proven leadership abilities
  • Demonstrate specific market knowledge (sourcing, payment terms, critical paths, business mechanics etc.)
  • Creative ability to identify new strategic opportunities
  • Proven sales professional with consultative sales approach
  • Exceptional lead contact and prospect follow-up
  • Solid work ethic with exceptional communication & negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Fluent in English
